As of December 2024 all WAFFL competitions are open to everybody regardless of age or location.
In order to enter any competition players are required to register at www.waffl.co.uk (the “Website”) or its related mobile apps (the “Mobile Apps”).
Entry to WAFFL competitions is free. Some competitions may include a “Premier“ option for a small fee. Premier membership removes all in-App or web-site advertising and may enable additional features such as the ability to join or create Private Leagues. See individual competitions for details.
Unless otherwise specified in the competition rules, players are able to register multiple accounts but each registered account must be linked to a unique email address.
By entering any WAFFL competition you will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions in their entirety and to have agreed to be bound by them when entering the competition.
These terms and conditions may be updated periodically. Following any such updates the home page of each competition will carry an appropriate notification for a period of at least two weeks.
When entering any competition you are required to provide a valid email address. The email address is primarily used for player identification and we do not forward your details to any third parties. We may, on occasion, notify players by email of upcoming new competitions or major announcements related to ongoing competitions. If you would prefer not to receive such notifications please update your personal preferences accordingly at the Website or using the relevant Mobile App.
Submission of entries
All WAFFL competitions assume that players have full internet access in order to submit predictions, team selections, etc. The WAFFL organisation accepts no responsibility for network, computer hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry. Under no circumstances can a user submit their entry via e-mail unless explicitly stated in the individual competition rules.
Limitation of Liability
Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, WAFFL excludes responsibility and all liabilities arising from:
any postponement, cancellation, delay or other changes to the relevant football fixtures beyond the organiser's reasonable control
any technical failures or unavailability of the WAFFL web-site, Mobile Apps or other related platforms
any act or default of any third party supplier including without limitation errors relating to fixtures and scoring data
any loss or inconvenience caused by misappropriation of your WAFFL password or other account details
If any provision or part-provision of these terms and conditions are or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted. Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision under this clause shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these terms and conditions.
Disputes
The Organiser's decision is final and legally binding on all entrants in relation to all aspects of the competition and no correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with competiton rules or terms and conditions will be disqualified and will not be eligible to receive any prizes which may otherwise have been available.
