The Points System
Points will be awarded as follows:
| For correctly forecasting the winning team: | 2 points |
| For correctly forecasting the winning team AND the margin: | 3 points |
| For correctly forecasting a draw: | 3 points |
| For correctly forecasting the number of goals scored by either team: | 1 point bonus |
| For correctly forecasting the exact result: | 5 points |
Examples: Mexico vs South Africa
| Your forecast: | 3-1 |
| Actual result: | 2-1 |
| Points Scored: | 3 (2 for forecasting Mexico to win, 1 for forecasting South Africa to score 1 goal) |
| Your forecast: | 0-1 |
| Actual result: | 1-2 |
| Points Scored: | 3 (correct team and correct margin) |
| Your forecast: | 0-0 |
| Actual result: | 1-1 |
| Points Scored: | 3 (correct draw forecast) |
| Your forecast: | 1-0 |
| Actual result: | 1-2 |
| Points Scored: | 1 (correct score for Mexico) |
| Your forecast: | 2-1 |
